Blue Nectar® Reposado Awarded Chairman’s Trophy in 2014 Ultimate Spirits Challenge
Blue Nectar Spirits Company made waves in this year’s Ultimate Spirits Challenge, the premier international spirits and beverage competition that seeks annually to recognize the best examples of product excellence in every spirit category.
We are proud to have received a Chairman’s Trophy, the challenge’s highest award, with a rating of 94 in the Reposado category. Described by the judges as having “sweet aromas of candied fruit and butterscotch custard [that] intrigue the nose,” our Reposado is “highly recommended.” We are also pleased to announce that our Silver tequila was honored in the Challenge’s Blanco category.
Judged by 22 of the industry’s most respected experts, the challenge has established the highest standards of evaluation and is a guide for wine and spirit importers and consumers throughout the world. This year’s competition, held in New York City, featured 45 spirit categories and awarded 37 Chairman’s Trophies.
